Promoting health, safety, and well-being

Homemaker Personal Care (HPC) is a type of support service designed to assist individuals with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living. HPC services are intended to promote independence and enable individuals to remain living in their own homes rather than in institutional settings.

These activities may include:

  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and grooming

We work closely with individuals and their families to develop a personalized care plan. This plan takes into account the individual’s specific needs, goals, and preferences and is designed to promote their health, safety, and well-being. HPC services may be provided regularly, such as daily or weekly, or on an as-needed basis.

The goal of our HPC services is to support individuals with developmental disabilities in maintaining their independence and achieving their goals while also providing necessary assistance and care.
